Finding your fit

Fit depends on styling, cut and fabric so finding clothes that fit isn't always straightforward. We style all our clothes with 'real women' in mind and take pride in making clothes that fit comfortably and look great. If you're unsure of your size, use the Size Guide below.

We have a range of pants available in regular and short leg lengths, so you won't need to get out the sewing machine. It's a good idea to measure inseam length on pants that fit you well and then look for that inseam length when you're shopping for pants. Use the In-leg Length Guide below to find your perfect length. Remember you will probably need a little extra length on a smart pant to allow for wearing a heel.

Caring for your clothes

Clothes can last longer if we care for them well. Always read the care instructions found inside each garment, however, here are a few simple ideas to help them last the test of time.  Also below you will find care instructions for special garments.
  • Separating your laundry will ultimately extend the appearance and life-span of your clothes. Wash clothes with similar colours and types.
  • Wash whites with other whites or cream colours and dark with darks (ie denim jeans with other dark and heavy garments)
  • Wash towels with other brushed items like tracksuits so all your clothes won't be covered in fluff.
  • Use the right amount of detergent for the load. Not enough means that they may not be clean and too much detergent is hard to completely rinse off.
  • Use fabric softener to reduce static, creasing and ironing.
  • Launder soiled clothes as quickly as possible. If you are unsure what has caused a stain, treat soiled area with a pre-wash stain remover.
  • Be careful when bleaching as many fibres and trims can be damaged. Elastane, nylon, silk and wool cannot be bleached. Bleaching can cause oxidation (rusting) on metal trims such as studs and rivets. Chlorine bleach may be safely used on cottons, linens, polyester, and viscose rayon. Investigate how garments are trimmed, check if thy have been blended with other fibres that cannot be bleached.
  • When drying, turn clothes inside out and do not leave in the sun for lengthy periods. Drying in the shade will prolong the colour and life of your clothing.
  • Wash all items as gently as possible. Don't overfill the machine as laundry won't wash thoroughly and will be excessively creased.
