If you’re buying pants online, you can buy the right pants sizes by measuring your waist, hips and inner leg length. Use the Grae Size Guide you can see on each pair of pants to determine your perfect fit in sizes spanning size 6-24 to include plus size pants.
How should women’s pants fit?
Like a pair of shorts, women’s pants should fit comfortably around the waist and hips, not too tight and not too loose. The fit around the legs depends on the design, so stretch pants should be snug while women’s joggers, wide leg pants (or culottes) and leisure pants should be loose fitting around the legs.
How long should pants be?
Not only are women all different shapes and sizes, we’re different heights too. Ankle length pants might be closer to ⅞ length pants on a tall woman, and cropped pants can sit anywhere from the top half of the calf to an inch or so above the ankle. Full length pants generally sit around the ankle bone, but depending on the design they might reach to your heels.
If you’re comfortable with the length of a pair of pants, then that’s how long they should be.
